September 2022

We have a very good summer here and it has been great to see people travelling again. We have had many family group get-togethers and it has been wonderful to hear the clink of glasses and children’s laughter again. We were lucky enough to have the Tour de France go through the village in July, a great carnival atmosphere and an exciting afternoon. Guests have enjoyed days out to the new sea front in Calais with the incredible Dragon, beach fun in Wissant and Wimereux, the updated sealife centre Nausicaa in Boulogne and town excursions to St Omer, Lille and Arras to name but a few. We will be closed from January to March in 2023 but look forward to welcoming you here from April onwards.

The evening sun down at the bottom of the garden in La Ferme is always worth the walk. Occasionally a cold glass of wine may be taken!

The gardens are looking beautiful here at La Ferme Bleue and Mowgli is as chilled as ever (!) but we are missing our lovely guests! As we come out of lockdown here in France and life starts to return to “normal” we hope to see you back here again sometime soon.

Update Saturday 27th June

The British government has just announced changes to the current quarantine rules that will mean travel to France will open up, without quarantine measures, from 06 July. This means that we will be able to welcome guests this summer!
