La Ferme

La Ferme is the original farmhouse, adjacent to Le Manoir. It retains the majority of its original features, with thick walls, original beams and brickwork and lots of interesting quirky spaces. It has recently been updated and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. A stable door from the utility room leads out onto the terrace and large garden at the back of the house, backing directly onto our pastureland. The house itself is light and airy with separate kitchen, dining and living rooms. There is also a utility room with butler sink, washing machine and small extra fridge, plus space for shoes/boots and coats.

The large dual aspect kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. It also has a kitchen table and a large sofa. The dining room has a large bay window letting in plenty of light and a table seating 8 people. The sitting room has comfortable seating and a log burning stove for cosy evenings.

There are 4 bedrooms. On the ground floor is a large super king with direct access through French doors into the garden. There is a hand basin inside the bedroom. Next to the bedroom is a shower room with a loo. Upstairs are a double, a twin and a single (which can also accommodate an extra single bed or a cot). There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and one with a shower.

Upstairs there is also a reading area with sofa and plenty of books you are welcome to borrow during your stay, and a relaxing area with a sofa/day bed and a selection of games.
