Welcome back!
We have been so happy to welcome guests back to La Ferme Bleue after such a long time! We have welcomed back many old friends and have made plenty of new ones. People have enjoyed the peace of mind being able to travel in their own cars without the hassle of travelling by plane, which has been challenging this year. We have had unusually hot weather but the gardens have now recovered after a period of rain.
Both our gîtes are airy, spacious and completely self-contained. The large gardens back onto our private pasture and Hardinghen is a quiet country village with little through traffic.
Gites de la Ferme Bleue, Hardinghen, Pas de Calais
Hardinghen is a small village 20 minutes’ drive from Calais and Boulogne. It is in the heart of the beautiful Boulonnais region, surrounded by hills and valleys, forests and streams. There are many marked countryside walks ranging from a short stroll to a full day's hike and the spectacular sandy beaches of the Opale Coast are just 15 minutes away by car.
The area has a wide range of leisure activities to offer, from the fabulous sea life centre in Boulogne-Sur-Mer, the museums in all the towns, the many wonderful golf courses within half an hour's drive, to sand yachting, windsurfing, cycling, horse riding, walking or just chilling and watching the world go by from a cafe or restaurant nearby.
It is a perfect spot for a short break whether you want to be active or just to relax.
